Racketball

England Squash uses the term Squash57 but most players still favour the original name.

RACKETBALL in Cheshire

Racketball is the fastest growing UK sport.  Played on a squash court, with similar rules, it has been described as an easy game to learn but difficult to master.  The larger bouncy ball warms up quickly and withstands colder conditions well, making for lower intensity games of slower pace and longer rallies.  It is ideal for all ages. Singles or doubles.

Inter-club racquetball leagues

There are two club leagues running in Cheshire.  Teams are composed of either 3-5 players of either sex.  Clubs wishing to enter should contact Geoff Walton 07787534288 geoffw2362@hotmail.com.

Inter-counties teams

Currently there is an annual National UK Racketball Championships in Nottingham in June each year.  Cheshire would like to enter teams at all levels, open (either sexes), over 50s (either sexes) and ladies open.  Anyone wishing to be considered for selection should contact Graeme Heward 07706366158 g.heward@outlook.com
